About Me
My Background
A native of Colorado, I spent seven years studying in a Jewish educational system known as Yeshiva, graduating with a rabbinical degree. During the final two years of this program, I began writing my first novel, which was horribly written. Subsequently, I relocated to Los Angeles to pursue higher education at UCLA, where I earned a Bachelor's degree in Physiological Science followed by a Master's degree in the same field. Throughout these academic pursuits, I maintained a passion for writing novels.
Following my graduation from UCLA, I enlisted in the United States Air Force and served in various capacities in Texas and Japan.
My diverse interests include outdoor activities in natural settings, as well as quiet evenings spent sipping hot chocolate while engrossed in a compelling book, my favorite being Les Misérables. For me, the written word, when crafted with precision, has the power to transport the reader into alternate realms, as if by magic.

Summary of STRIPES:
Lola, a young zebra foal, has always been taught to fear lions. One fateful day at a watering hole with her family, they are attacked, and Lola finds herself lost in the vast savanna. Terrified and alone, she encounters an unexpected ally – a curious lion cub. Despite their differences, the two set off on a journey to reunite Lola with her family. Along the way, they meet a variety of interesting characters and face numerous challenges, discovering courage and friendship in the process.

My Writing Style
My writing style reflects how I feel. What I know. It can range from humor to horror, from children’s to adult, and everything in between. Some of my characters demonstrate the duality of man, the choice between good and evil, between positive and negative. Others just live without a care in the world.
I try to implement meaning and depth into my stories, as well as a personal aspect to each character. In fact, themes, the internal battles of the characters, and thought process interweave from novel to novel; for we are all human, and, therefore, we all possess many similarities as well as individual differences.
Some of my stories bridge the gap between literary and commercial fiction, blending character-driven narratives with fast-paced plots that vary in pace and depth. Some are just fun to write, and others are stories that I just have to get out of my system. Some are heavy and some are light, some are funny and some dark, some motivational and some depressing. I write what I feel, and I feel what I write.
All in all, I love creating, and I hope the people who read my books will fall in love with them too.
